Continuum
Time plucks us from the womb, a fruit with a soul, a gift to the earth. We are a vessel filled with seconds and minutes with an expiration date. When people come along to connect and ask for a share of our lives, a piece of us goes with them, a piece that that takes root in their hearts eventually thriving into a feeling or memory and wherever they take their time with them, a piece of us tags…

Loyalty
Amidst the celestial realm of Mount Olympus, where deities held sway, resided a princess of extraordinary lineage. Aetheria, the daughter of Zeus, King of the gods, and Hera, Queen of the heavens, was a radiant beacon of grace and devotion.
From her tender years, Aetheria had witnessed firsthand the turbulent marriage between her parents. Zeus's infidelity and Hera's unwavering loyalty had woven a tapestry of heartache for both. As Aetheria matured, her compassionate heart ached for her mother's suffering.
When the war between Zeus and Hera erupted, Olympus was torn asunder. Aetheria, torn between her love for both parents, grappled with an impossible choice. Yet, as she delved into the depths of her own conscience, a voice emerged within her, guided by the divine essence of loyalty.
Aetheria, Goddess of Loyalty and Protection, could no longer bear to see her mother endure further pain. The countless betrayals and humiliations had left an indelible scar on her soul. With a heavy heart, she resolved to stand by Hera's side.
Her decision sent shockwaves through Olympus. Zeus, furious and heartbroken, accused Aetheria of treason. His siblings, once united against their mother, now turned their judgmental gazes upon her. Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, voiced her disapproval, while Ares, the God of War, threatened retaliation.
Yet, Aetheria remained resolute. She had witnessed the true nature of Zeus's rule, his tyranny cloaked in charm. She had seen the suffering he had inflicted upon her mother and the mortal realm. In her eyes, Hera, the scorned and wronged queen, deserved both justice and solace.
As the battle raged, Aetheria fought alongside Hera's forces with unwavering determination. Her celestial light illuminated the darkness, empowering her allies and striking fear into her enemies. Her devotion inspired others to question their loyalty to Zeus.
In the end, with Hera's victory, Zeus was overthrown. Olympus underwent a profound transformation, where loyalty and compassion triumphed over deceit and tyranny. And Aetheria, once an outcast, emerged as a symbol of hope and reconciliation.
From that day forward, Aetheria's name became synonymous with loyalty and the unwavering bonds of family. She became the protector of those who had been wronged and the voice of justice in the realm of the gods. And as the years passed, the story of the goddess who sided with her mother became a timeless legend, reminding all who heard it of the enduring power of loyalty and love.

A Wolverine's Heartache - Part II
Part I Part II
Logan/James Howlett x Reader
She/Her Pronouns
Summary: The Sentinel battle takes a turn for the worst causing Logan to lose someone dear to him.
Before the Sentinels descended upon them, there had been a quiet undercurrent of tension between Logan and Y/N, an unspoken dynamic that lingered beneath the surface of their friendship. The Xavier Institute, a haven for mutants, had become a place where emotions and connections were heightened, but not always openly acknowledged.
Logan and Y/N had shared moments of camaraderie, their friendship deepening over time. Yet, a subtle dance of longing and hesitation played out between them, unnoticed by others but felt in the quiet glances and stolen smiles. Each held a key to the other's heart, but the lock remained unturned.
In the tranquil moments before the storm, Y/N often found herself stealing glances at Logan, a flutter of uncertainty in her chest. She admired his strength, both physical and emotional, and valued the camaraderie they shared. Yet, there was an unspoken desire for something more, a connection that hovered in the uncharted territory between friendship and something deeper.
Logan, too, grappled with his own conflicting emotions. He had always been a lone wolf, accustomed to the solitude of his own thoughts. However, Y/N's presence had become a soothing balm to his restless soul. There were times when he caught himself staring at her, a vulnerability in his gaze that betrayed the unspoken depths of his feelings.
Their interactions were laced with a delicate balance, a dance around unexplored territories. A brush of hands during training, a shared moment of laughter by the fireplace – each encounter left an indelible mark on their hearts, pushing them closer to a truth neither was ready to confront.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The battle with the Sentinels unfolded in a crescendo of chaos and destruction. The ominous hum of their massive metal bodies echoed through the war-torn landscape as the mutants of the Xavier Institute rallied to fend off the relentless onslaught.
The sky crackled with energy as Storm unleashed her powers, attempting to create a barrier against the relentless advance of the towering machines. Colossus, his metallic form glinting in the harsh light, clashed with the Sentinels in a display of brute strength. Cyclops fired optic blasts with precision, desperately trying to hold the line.
Amidst the chaos, Logan moved like a feral blur, his adamantium claws slicing through the mechanical monstrosities with unmatched ferocity. The air was filled with the acrid scent of burning metal and the distant cries of mutants in peril.
Y/N fought valiantly alongside the team, her powers contributing to the defense, but the fear of being overshadowed by the more powerful mutants gnawed at her. In the midst of the mayhem, she kept glancing towards Logan, seeking reassurance, but his attention was consumed by the battle.
As the Sentinels closed in, a momentary distraction led to a tragic turn of events. Y/N found herself isolated for a brief second, and in that moment of vulnerability, a Sentinel seized the opportunity. A deafening scream pierced the air as Y/N was ensnared in its metallic grip.
Logan, several yards away, sensed the danger too late. His instincts kicked in, and he sprinted towards Y/N with an urgency that defied the chaos around him. With a primal roar, he lunged at the Sentinel, claws slashing through its armored exterior. The metallic giant released its grip, but the damage was done.
Time seemed to slow as Y/N crumpled to the ground, Logan catching her in his arms. The battle raged on, but in that harrowing moment, everything faded into the background. Logan's heart pounded as he held Y/N, the world collapsing around them as her life slipped away.
Logan's world shattered as he held Y/N's lifeless form in his arms. Time seemed to freeze, and the chaos of the battle faded into a distant murmur. The weight of grief pressed down on him like an unrelenting force, threatening to consume him whole.
In that agonizing moment, Logan's senses, normally keen and alert, dulled to the outside world. The smell of burning metal, the distant clashes of mutant powers, and the acrid taste of despair in the air became distant echoes. All that remained was the profound silence that accompanied Y/N's departure from the living.
Logan's heart, usually a steady rhythm amidst the storm, now pounded with a raw, aching intensity. His hands trembled as he cradled Y/N's lifeless body, unable to comprehend the reality of her absence. The world around him blurred, and tears – a rare expression of vulnerability – welled up in his eyes.
Regret and guilt gnawed at Logan's soul. If only he had been quicker, more vigilant. If only he had protected her better. The weight of responsibility bore down on him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had failed the one person who had silently meant more to him than he had ever admitted.
A guttural, primal scream tore from Logan's throat, reverberating through the battlefield. It was a scream of anguish, of a grief so profound that it echoed the depths of his soul. In that moment, the Wolverine, known for his stoic demeanor and unyielding strength, crumbled under the weight of loss.
As Logan clung to Y/N's lifeless body, the reality of her absence sank in, leaving him stranded in a sea of sorrow. The battlefield continued to rage around him, but in his world, everything had come to a standstill. The connection he had shared with Y/N, the unspoken bond that had grown between them, was now a painful void that threatened to engulf him entirely.
— heartache on the big screen: c.sb
— pairing: non-idol!soobin x fem!reader — genre: angst — word count: 2270 — disclaimers: not proofread! adding of minor characters (lesserafim) — synopsis: you end up marrying choi soobin on the tv show 'married at first sight', but it ended up being a nightmare you could never wake up from. — series masterlist
— author's note: i'm starting the year with a comeback!! this was totally not on my masterlist but i lost interest in the other plots, so leaving this here for now!!
The sun was setting on a chapter of your single life that you had never expected to close so soon.
The world of "Married at First Sight" was an exhilarating whirlwind, filled with reality TV magic, unexpected emotions, and the thrill of uncertainty. And within that whirlwind was Choi Soobin, the man who, by some twist of fate or clever casting, had become your husband. Exactly what had you gotten yourself into?
You remember the first day on set, surrounded by nervous giggles from you and your friends as you wondered about the stranger you were about to marry. They were your support system, your cheerleaders, and your voice of reason when you doubted this crazy decision to marry someone you'd never met on television.
"Y/N, you look absolutely stunning!" Kazuha whispered as she adjusted your veil. "Whoever is waiting for you out there is going to be blown away."
Chaewon gave you a reassuring smile. "This is your special day. No matter what happens, we're here for you."
And then there was Soobin, standing at the altar with his childhood friends by his side. Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai all looked dashing in their sleek suits, their eyes shining mischievously for some reason that escaped you at the time. You caught Beomgyu elbowing Yeonjun and gawking at the sight of you.
As you walked down the aisle towards Soobin, your gaze locked onto his. He was tall and handsome, his eyes reflecting a sincerity that made your heart skip a beat. It was like something out of a drama; your connection with him was immediate. Despite the excited whispers of your friends and murmurs of the audience, everything else seemed to fade away until it was just the two of you.
The ceremony was a blur of vows and promises, all under the watchful eye of cameras and lights. You didn’t know if it was because you were so engrossed in the moment or what, but there was something undeniably real in the way Soobin held your hands, the warmth of his touch reassuring you. Or maybe you were just being delusional, after all, you had just met.
"We are gathered here today to witness the union of Y/N and Soobin," the officiant began, his voice steady and clear. "This marriage is one of the heart, a union that began as a leap of faith but will grow into a lifelong commitment through mutual respect, patience, and love."
"Y/N, I may not have known you for long, but in the time that I have, you've already left an indelible mark on my heart. I promise to cherish you, to be there for you through every challenge, and to learn every day what it means to be your partner," Soobin's vow was heartfelt, his voice carrying a tremble that only you could detect.
Your own vows were a whisper, a promise to yourself as much as to him. "Soobin, I stand here before you, ready to embark on this journey together. I promise to give you my trust, my support, and my heart as we navigate this path that neither of us expected, but both of us chose."
The reception was a lively and vibrant affair, filled with the joyful sounds of laughter and the energetic movements of dancing. As Soobin's friends took to the dancefloor, their infectious energy spread throughout the room.
The fusion of your two worlds was evident in every aspect of the celebration - from the music to the decor to the diverse group of guests mingling together. Toasts were made to your happiness, to the serendipity of your match, and to the exciting adventures that lay ahead for you as a married couple.
Your own friends stood by your side, beaming with pride and joy for you. They watched with misty eyes as you were twirled around the dancefloor by Soobin, knowing that after all you had been through, this happy ending was well-deserved and long overdue.
As time went by, the cameras captured every moment of your newlywed life on television. You moved into a cozy apartment together and decorated it with a mix of both of your styles. Spending evenings cooking and having deep conversations about your hopes and fears, and discovering each other's quirks became a daily routine with Soobin. Each day felt like uncovering a new chapter in an unputdownable book.
Soobin was considerate, always leaving you sweet notes before heading off to work. "Have a wonderful day, Y/N! You're on my mind." His words never failed to bring a smile to your face, reminding you of the beauty that was blooming between you two in this unconventional marriage.
But as they say, reality has a way of disrupting the perfect storybook tale.
It was during a casual outing with Soobin's friends on a warm summer day when the harsh words pierced your ears. Arin, who had always been kind to you, was confronting Soobin with an intensity you had never seen before.
"I can't believe you actually went through with this wedding, Soobin," her voice cracked with disbelief and something else—hurt, maybe? The waves crashed against the shore in the background, their rhythm disrupted by the tension in the air.
"A dare?" you repeated, your voice barely above a whisper as you struggled to process the conversation unfolding before you.
“Arin, keep it down!” Soobin hissed in a panic, looking around to see if you or any of your friends were nearby. Your heart seemed to stop, the words echoing in your mind like a siren's call. The rest of the world faded away as you decided to take a step forward, turning to face them, searching Soobin's eyes for an explanation.
Soobin looked stricken, his eyes widening as he realized you had overheard. "Y/N, it's not like that. I—"
"Y/N, I'm sorry," Arin interjected, her gaze flitting between you and Soobin. "I never meant for you to find out this way. But before the show, Soobin made a bet with us. It was supposed to be a joke, a challenge to see if he could really get married at first sight for Yeonjun’s porsche. We never thought he'd actually do it."
You felt the room spin, your breaths coming in short gasps as you processed her words. The laughter and camaraderie of the group around you became a distant hum. "A joke?" your voice trembled as tears stung at your eyes. "Was I just a pawn in one of your games, Soobin?"
Sure, you knew joining the program was a tough decision for anyone signing up, but you had joined with hope in your heart. Hope of finding someone to spend the rest of your life with. But to hear that the man you married had only joined as a ploy to win a car shattered you.
"No, Y/N, please," Soobin reached for your hand, but you pulled away instinctively. "It started as a dare, but what I feel for you is real. I fell for you the moment I saw you. Everything we've shared, every moment, it's all real to me."
“Guys!” Taehyun popped up from behind you with a big smile, but stopped when he realized what was going on. His smile dropped when you dashed past him and into the main room where everyone was, Soobin hot on your heels, panic evident in his face.
His friends were silent, their eyes on the floor, on the walls, anywhere but on the unfolding drama. Your friends were quick to your side, forming a protective circle around you. Their faces were a mix of concern and anger, mirroring your own whirlwind of emotions.
"Y/N, we should go," Chaewon said firmly, her hand resting gently on your back.
You nodded numbly, barely able to speak as you followed them out of the beach house and onto the sandy shore. The crashing waves seemed to mock the chaos inside of you as you walked away from Soobin and his betrayal. His pleading calls echoed in your ears until finally fading into the distance as you made your way home, leaving behind a broken relationship and a shattered heart.
Your friends were fiercely supportive, providing comfort and reassurances that no matter what, you weren’t alone. But their anger towards Soobin was palpable, and it only served to deepen the ache in your heart. Even though the foundation of your relationship was now in question, you couldn't ignore the truth that your feelings for Soobin were real.
Soobin tried to reach out, his messages filling your phone with apologies and pleas for you to talk. You weren't ready to hear his explanations, not yet. The hurt was too fresh, the sense of betrayal too sharp. You knew you needed time to sort through the chaos of your emotions or you’d be the running joke at the end of this season.
As days turned into weeks, the space between you and Soobin seemed to stretch endlessly. You threw yourself into your work, into spending time with friends, into anything that could distract your mind from the haunting memories of him. But no matter how hard you tried, his presence lingered like a shadow, creeping up on quiet nights alone or during mundane moments like hearing a certain song on the radio.
Then one evening, a familiar knock came at your door. Your heart raced with a mix of dread and hope as you hesitated before answering. And there stood Soobin, his eyes weary and his posture uncertain.
"Y/N, I know I'm the last person you want to see right now," he began quietly. "But I had to try, one last time. Can we talk?"
You stepped aside, wordlessly letting him in. The apartment was filled with an awkward silence as you sat across from each other, the tension thick in the air.
"Soobin, why should I believe any words you say?" you asked coolly, trying to hide the turmoil churning inside.
"Because I'm not asking you to believe my words," he responded earnestly. "I'm asking you to believe my actions from here on out. I was foolish for agreeing to that dare, and I can't apologize enough for the pain I caused you. But what I felt for you from the moment we met, the connection that grew every day we spent together—that was never a lie. I love you, Y/N. And I'll do whatever it takes to prove that to you, if you'll let me."
His eyes held a sincerity that mirrored your own emotions. It was the same look he had given you on your wedding day, the same warmth that had comforted you during countless nights.
You didn't respond immediately, still unsure if forgiveness or reconciliation were even possible. But as you talked through the night, unraveling your feelings and fears, a fragile hope began to take root. Maybe there was still a chance for your story to have a different ending. You didn't want it to end like this.
Soobin's determination to make things right was evident in every action he took. He listened, he learned, and he loved with a vulnerability that was both new and familiar. And as the weeks turned into months, you could feel the walls you had built around yourself slowly coming down.
He started with small gestures of kindness, leaving coffee from your favorite café outside your door or sending you playlists of songs that reminded him of the good times you shared. There were no grand gestures or dramatic displays that would make for a perfect reality TV moment. Instead, there were heartfelt letters, peaceful walks in the park, and hours spent talking about everything and nothing at all.
Your friends watched cautiously as Soobin worked to mend the broken trust between you. They were understandably protective and skeptical, but they also saw the changes in you. The light returned to your eyes, and the weight on your shoulders lifted ever so slightly.
The guys, too, offered their apologies. They explained how the dare had been a foolish mistake, how they never imagined it would lead to real emotions and serious consequences. They stood by Soobin's side, but more importantly, they showed respect for the journey you were on.
Although the popular show "Married at First Sight" had long since aired its finale, your own personal relationship was quietly rebuilding itself, growing stronger from having weathered the storm together.
On a chilly autumn evening, Soobin invited you to the rooftop of your apartment building. The city lights shimmered below, and stars filled the sky above. It was on this tranquil rooftop, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, that Soobin reached for your hands.
"Y/N, I know I don't deserve another chance, but I am forever grateful for it," he confessed, his gaze unwavering as it met yours. "I can't change the past, but I promise to make every day a testament to my love for you in our future. Will you marry me, not just once but every day from now until eternity?"
His voice held vulnerability and his eyes pleaded with sincerity. It was all you needed to see the truth. Despite the unconventional journey and unexpected hurdles, the love between you two was genuine.
With tears of forgiveness and hope streaming down your face, you nodded in affirmation.
As you embraced each other on the rooftop, with the city lights below and stars above, you knew that this was truly just the beginning. No cameras or spectators, just you and Choi Soobin
One of the most overlooked aspects of the IOF’s genocide in Gaza is the destruction of rescue infrastructure. Rescuing people trapped under rubble has become almost impossible due to the IOF’s systematic sabotage of civil defense resources, including rescue equipment, fuel, and electricity. Yet even with these limitations, first responders continue doing their job, risking their lives all day every day.
Civil defense rescuer Nooh Al-Shaghnobi documents his team’s response to bombing of a home last night in northern Gaza. Nooh and one of his colleagues hang over the side of the building, held up only by thin ropes around their waists and their colleagues’ grasps. Describes the situation in the caption of this video
Stories that are only told in legends... A woman dangled at the top of a residential building, with a heartache over not being able to get her out due to the lack of equipment. We tried our best and divided her body into parts so we could remove it from its place. All of this will leave an indelible mark on our hearts💔💔
Echoes of Barcelona (Pedri Gonzàlez.)
Summary: In the quiet streets of Barcelona, amidst memories of a fading love with Pedri, one reflects on shared adventures and unspoken farewells. Nostalgia mingles with the realization that love sometimes isn't enough. Sitting on a park bench at sunset, they find closure in accepting the need to let go, embracing the uncertain path ahead with hope for new beginnings.
The city of Barcelona seemed unusually quiet as you walked through its familiar streets. The melancholic melody mirrored the ache in your heart as you thought about Pedri, your once inseparable companion who now seemed so distant.
Not long ago, Pedri had been your everything. From spontaneous adventures in the bustling markets to quiet evenings sharing dreams under the starlit sky, your bond had felt unbreakable. But as life's uncertainties unfolded, cracks began to appear in the foundation you had built together.
One evening, after a tense conversation that lingered in the air like an unspoken goodbye, Pedri had walked away with a heavy heart. The weight of unspoken words and unaddressed doubts had pushed you both to the edge, leaving you standing alone in the wake of what once was.
Now, as you passed by places that held memories of laughter and whispered promises, each verse of your love felt like a reflection of the emotions you couldn't articulate, the longing for a love that seemed to slip through your fingers.
Lost in your thoughts, you found yourself at a familiar park bench overlooking the city skyline. It was here that you and Pedri had often sought solace in each other's presence, a sanctuary where words were unnecessary amidst the comforting silence.
As you sat alone, watching the sunset paint the sky in hues of orange and gold, a sense of closure washed over you. The bitter realization that sometimes, love wasn't enough to bridge the gaps that life imposed settled heavily on your shoulders. You closed your eyes, letting the tears fall silently as you replayed memories that now felt like distant dreams.
In the midst of heartache, you realized that letting go was the only path forward. With a deep breath, you whispered a silent farewell to the love you had cherished so deeply. Though the road ahead seemed uncertain and lonely, you knew that healing would come in time, and with it, the promise of a new beginning.
In the following days, Barcelona continued its quiet embrace around me. Each morning brought a tentative step towards healing, a gradual acceptance that life was reshaping itself without Pedri by my side. I immersed myself in routines that once belonged to our shared world but now felt like solitary rituals.
The bustling markets we had navigated together became places of both solace and sorrow. Amidst the vibrant colors and lively chatter, I traced the echo of our footsteps, memories interwoven with the fabric of this city we had loved as one.
Nights stretched endlessly, filled with contemplation under the same starlit sky that had witnessed our dreams. I found myself revisiting conversations, searching for clues in the spaces between words where our bond had begun to fray. Each revelation brought a bittersweet clarity, a mosaic of moments that shaped our journey and led us apart.
One quiet evening, drawn by an unexplainable pull, I returned to our park bench overlooking the city. The skyline, now a silent witness to my solitude, seemed to echo my inner turmoil. Yet, as I sat there in the fading light, a sense of peace settled over me like a gentle caress.
I realized then that healing wasn't about forgetting or replacing what once was, but about honoring the love that had shaped me. It was about finding strength in vulnerability, courage in letting go, and hope in the promise of new beginnings.
With each passing day, Barcelona whispered its secrets of resilience and renewal. I began to see beauty in the fragments of our past, understanding that our love had left an indelible mark on my soul. In its absence, I discovered the vastness of my own heart, capable of embracing both the joy and sorrow that love entails.
As seasons changed and Barcelona bloomed anew, I ventured forth with a lighter spirit. The ache in my heart had softened into a tender nostalgia, a gentle reminder of what once was and what could still be. I walked through those familiar streets with a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that while our paths had diverged, the imprint of our love would forever guide me towards the horizon of possibilities.
And so, amidst the quietude of Barcelona, I found not just closure but a profound gratitude for the journey that had led me to this moment. With each sunrise and every whispered farewell, I embraced the promise of my own resilience, ready to write new chapters under the expansive sky of a city that had witnessed both our love and our letting go.
"Shattered Guardianship: A Soldier's Heartache Amidst War's Echoes"
(Disclaimer:English is not my first language/this is a purely platonic relationship)
Amidst the merciless chaos of war, König's path intersected with a child, a silent testament to the brutality that stained the landscape. The young one, whose eyes mirrored the weight of a thousand tragedies, became a haunting presence in König's desolate world.
Kid, as König chose to call you in his heart, bore witness to horrors that no soul, especially one so young, should endure. Your gaze held the scars of a lifetime within its depths, a painful narrative etched on your innocent face. König, a seasoned warrior hardened by the trials of battle, couldn't remain indifferent to the silent plea in your eyes.
The first encounter was marked by a shared moment of understanding. König, haunted by his own demons, recognized the trauma reflected in your eyes. There, in the midst of a war-torn city, a silent bond formed between a battle-weary soldier and a child robbed of their innocence.
As the days unfolded, König took on an unexpected role as a protector. He shielded you from the relentless barrage of war, offering what little comfort and safety he could muster amidst the destruction. The once-ruthless warrior softened in the presence of your vulnerability, recognizing a flicker of hope within the despair that enveloped you.
In the hushed moments between battles, König became more than a guardian; he became a surrogate parent, providing solace in the midst of chaos. The echoes of your laughter, though scarce, became a melody that tempered the dissonance of war. In those stolen moments, König dared to dream of a world where you could reclaim the childhood stolen by conflict.
For five days, the war became a backdrop to this unlikely companionship. König, driven by an innate need to protect, became a lifeline for you, a beacon of stability in a world that offered none. In the quiet corners of makeshift shelters, he shared tales of distant lands and painted a picture of a life beyond the trenches, a life you deserved but had been cruelly denied.
Yet, the war, indifferent to the fleeting moments of solace, tightened its grip. The fragile sanctuary that König had crafted for you crumbled as the conflict escalated. In a cruel twist of fate, the very forces that sought to claim König's life also stole yours, leaving him grappling with the anguish of another loss.
As König held your lifeless form, a profound sorrow enveloped him. The weight of your silent absence echoed louder than the relentless gunfire. The war, unrelenting in its cruelty, had claimed yet another innocent soul, leaving behind a warrior shattered by grief.
In the aftermath, König's steps became heavier, burdened not only by the weight of his own sorrow but by the echoes of your silent plea for a world free from the horrors of war. The once-fierce warrior retreated into the shadows, haunted by the memory of a child he had failed to protect.
As the war raged on, König's spirit became a casualty of the conflict. The bond forged in those brief days left an indelible mark, a scar that cut through the armor of his stoicism. In the solitude of the war-torn landscape, König, the protector, was left to grapple with the ghosts of those he had lost, haunted by the lingering question of whether anything he did could ever be enough to mend the wounds inflicted by war.
(Funfact this was actually supposed to be a fluffy short story, but it somehow ended up being angst ^^)
But I love you so
As he stood at the doorstep, ready to depart, y/n couldn't bear to watch him go. Her heart shattered into a million pieces, but she knew she had to fight for their love. With tears in her eyes, she pleaded with him not to leave, professing her unwavering love for him but Steve didn’t change his decision. “Since you have decided to leave me and return to that damn woman, I’ll show you how capable I am to not let go what belongs to me.” Y/n hit back of Steve’s head with a weapon and he fell unconscious. Steve came to conscious and opened his eyes. His hands and legs were tied with ropes. “Hi sweetheart” y/n said while entering into the room with a smile of victory and that made Steve to feel disgusted with her. “Now Steven, let’s see who’s gonna come and take you away from me”. Steve prayed and hope anyone would come and help him.
It’s been three days since Steve been held hostage by Y/n and Steve has noticed her tucking herself in his arm crying and whispering “I’m sorry… I love you” when she thinks he’s sleeping.
4th day (morning)
It’s been 4 days since the Avengers saw Steve. They became worried about him and decided to check up on him since today is the day he will be returning the infinity stones. Bucky and Wanda went to Steve’s house and met only Y/n at the door, not Steve. Bucky notices the nervous look Y/n had on her face when he enquired about Steve “I- I don’t know where Steve is… never saw him since morning”. Bucky Barnes and Wanda, sensed the turmoil in their heart and knew they had to intervene so both of them went inside the house, ignoring Y/n’s explanation about Steve not at home. Both of them found out that y/n held hostage on Steve when they opened the room door and saw Steve tied up with ropes, in order to save Steve, wanda brain controlled Y/n and told Bucky to bring Steve out of here. “Come on pal, let’s get you out of here” Bucky went off with Steve to the quarters.
Wanda, with her mystical abilities, could sense the depth of Y/n’s emotions. Wanda unintentionally tapped into her mind. As she delved into the depths of Y/n’s consciousness, she was confronted with a heartbreaking and tragic past. Wanda witnessed scenes of heartache and loneliness. She saw the pain of a young child, abandoned by her parents at a tender age, left to navigate the world on her own. The memory of that moment left an indelible mark on the Y/n soul, forever shaping her view of love and trust.
As Wanda delved deeper, she saw instances of betrayal and deception from the people that Y/n had once trusted. Those she thought were friends turned out to be fair-weather companions, leaving her feeling isolated and vulnerable. Wanda's heart ached as she bore witness to the wounds Y/n had carried in secret, the scars that had shaped her into the person she was today. It was a weight that seemed unbearable, the pain of a lifetime etched into Y/n’s every thought. Believing that she don’t deserve love and no one really loves her truly.
Unable to ignore the profound sorrow she had inadvertently uncovered, Wanda gently withdrew from the reader's mind, her eyes filled with tears. She realized the heavy burden the reader had carried alone for so long. Wanda met the eyes that filled with tears while smiling sadly at her, she immediately hug Y/n while both them crying. “He too didn’t choose me Wanda” , Y/n hugged Wanda “I’m sorry Y/n… I’m sorry” Wanda cried as guilt filled her heart since she thought Y/n is a cruel person.
At the Backyard of quarters
“Pal, you ready ?” Bucky asked a Steve stands there on his suit to return back the stones and Bucky hope whatever decision Steve is taking, it will make him happy but he also feels bad for Y/n as she’s always been Steve’s backbone and supported him throughout everything but Steve decided to leave her and go back to Peggy.
Steve just nodded his head, feeling empty and low even-though this is what he wanted. To return back to Peggy and live the life he wanted with her before he went in ice. Steve Rogers found himself in a moment of profound realization. He had chosen to return to the past to be with Peggy Carter, believing it was the right decision. But as he held the infinity stones in his hand, memories of the Y/n flooded his mind.
The moments they had shared together, the laughter, the joy, and the love they had built—everything became crystal clear. In that moment, Steve knew he had made a mistake. He loves Y/n more than he had ever loved anyone else.
With unwavering determination, Steve decided to correct his course. He agreed to return the infinity stones to their rightful places and travel back to the present, where he hoped to find his Y/n waiting for him. He would make up for all his mistake and treat his y/n with more love here after.
wanda and y/n
In the aftermath of Steve Rogers' departure, Y/n found herself feeling lost and heartbroken. She couldn't help but feel like she had always been the one left behind, never truly chosen by anyone. As tears streamed down her cheeks, she decided to confide in her friend Wanda Maximoff, hoping for some comfort in her time of need.
Wanda, with her empathetic nature, listened attentively as the Y/n poured out her feelings of abandonment and hurt. She understood the weight of heartbreak all too well, having experienced her share of pain and loss. She gently took the Y/n's hand and reassured her that she was not alone.
"I'm here for you," Wanda said softly. "You deserve to be chosen and cherished. It's not your fault that things turned out this way." Y/n found solace in Wanda's words, feeling a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness of her emotions. With her support, the burden on her heart felt a little lighter.
Wanda then asked y/n what she needed and how she could help. Y/n hesitated for a moment, gathering her thoughts before answering honestly, "I need to leave this city and go somewhere far away. I want to start fresh, away from all the memories of Steve. Somewhere I can heal and move on."
Wanda nodded, understanding the importance of a fresh start. "I'll help you," she said without hesitation. "You don't have to go through this alone."
Together, they packed up Y/n's belongings. It was a bittersweet process, but with Wanda's unwavering support, Y/n felt like she could face the future with a little more courage.
Finally, Wanda and Y/n arrived. Y/n stood at the train station located in a serene hill station, ready to embark on her new journey. Wanda was by her side, a pillar of strength and comfort.
As the train pulled into the station, Wanda hugged Y/n tightly, wishing her well on her new adventure. "Remember, you are strong, and you deserve love and happiness," she said, her voice filled with warmth and encouragement.
Y/n nodded, a mix of emotions swirling within her. "Thank you, Wanda, for being there for me," she whispered, tears glistening in her eyes.
"You're welcome," Wanda replied with a gentle smile. "You'll find your path, and I'll always be here for you."
As the train doors closed and the engine roared to life, the Y/n took a deep breath, feeling a mixture of sadness and hope. The journey ahead might be uncertain, but she knew she had a friend who believed in her and would always be there to catch her if she fell. For a new life and chapter, y/n took off her journey.
Steve Pov
Once Steve Rogers had returned the infinity stones to their rightful places, he came back and ready to face the consequences of his actions. He knew he had left y/n, behind to be with Peggy, a choice he had come to deeply regret. He had realized too late that his heart belonged with y/n, not in the past with Peggy. “Buck, bring me back to my y/n, I wanna see her” Bucky felt happiness as he learned that Steve realized that he choose Y/n as his endgame.
With a mixture of anticipation and trepidation, Steve stepped into his house hoping to find y/n waiting for him. But as he entered their shared home, he was met with silence. The rooms that had once been filled with laughter and love felt empty and cold.
His heart sank as he noticed the absence of y/n's belongings and the cherished memories they had created together. Photographs of their adventures, tokens of their love, all seemed to have vanished. The realization hit him like a tidal wave – y/n had packed her things and left.
Feeling a sense of urgency, Steve tried to reach out to y/n, but all his attempts went unanswered. He knew he had to find her, to explain and apologize for the pain he had caused.
Regret washed over Steve like a tidal wave. He had let fear cloud his judgment, and now he had lost the love he treasured most. With a heavy heart, he set out to find y/n, determined to make things right.
Steve then discovered a small pile of ashes on the floor. With trembling hands, he realized they were photographs of him and y/n, memories that she had decided to burn.
Tears welled up in his eyes as he understood the depth of the pain he had caused her. He had chosen Peggy over her, only to realize too late that he had broken the heart of the person he loved most. Steve then realized that Wanda is the only person who was with y/n just now.
He sought out Wanda Maximoff, hoping she might have some insight into y/n's whereabouts. "Wanda, where is y/n?” Steve asked, his voice filled with worry. Wanda looked at him with anger in her eyes. "you have left her right? Where are you finding her? to leave her again?” she replied harshly as she couldn’t bear the pain that everyone put you through, including Steve.
"Wanda… I- I know I did a mistake but I need my y/n and I have realized that I only love her and I don’t love anyone else like I love her so please tell me where she is?” He asked, his heart sinking. Wanda took a deep breath before continuing, "I read y/n's mind, Steve. She's hurting. She feels like everyone she loved has abandoned and left her alone." Wanda proceeds to tell him that she dropped off you at the train station and doesn’t know to where is your journey destined.
Steve's heart clenched in pain as he realized the impact of his actions on y/n. He had left her without a word, and she must have felt betrayed and abandoned.
"I never meant to hurt her," Steve said, his voice filled with regret. "I love her, Wanda, i need my y/n”. Steve gave up and cried out loudly realizing his y/n has left everything behind and went far beyond from him.
Steve set out to find the y/n, praying that it wasn't too late to make things right. He would search worldwide if he has to find his y/n. One day or soon he would meet her and he will wait for his love.
A/n: been thinking about making this as a series and did you guys saw the first hashtag there after all my Steve Rogers hashtags? 🌚 you’re all in for a Chris Evans multiverse story
DEAR JAHSEH,
« it’s been too long and I’m lost without you…»
Since you’ve been gone, life has lost much of its vibrancy and excitement. It’s hard to believe that six years have passed since we’ve had to navigate this world without your presence. I find myself missing everything about you—your infectious laugh, your radiant smile, your distinctive voice, your profound words, and the soul-stirring music you shared with us. Your IG stories were a window into your world, and I awaited each update with bated breath, eager to see the next glimpse of your creativity and zest for life.
Now, six years later, the void you left remains unfilled, a testament to the indelible mark you’ve made on my heart and soul. Your music serves as a bridge between us, a bittersweet connection that, while precious, also reminds me of the pain of losing you. Listening to your songs is both a comfort and a source of heartache, a constant reminder of your absence from this physical world.
How I wish you could witness the impact you’ve had on us, your fans. I long to express my gratitude for the light you brought into our lives, for being a beacon of hope during our darkest times. You endured so much, fought so many battles, and sought to find peace amidst the turmoil. It’s a cruel twist of fate that you were taken from us so prematurely, at the tender age of just 20.
In my heart, I hold onto the hope that you have found solace in a place free from suffering—a realm where love reigns supreme, healing the wounds inflicted by the world. A place where your spirit can soar without burden, embraced by the peace you so richly deserve.
With deepest affection and remembrance,
LLJ🕊️
RECAP: LOUIS TOMLINSONS "FAITH IN THE FUTURE" TOUR
Photos by Tage Stenner
In the midst of the whirlwind 'Faith In The Future' tour, and under the shadow of a disastrous hailstorm at Red Rocks that led to fan injuries just days prior, Louis Tomlinson delivered a stellar performance in Vancouver at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on June 26th, 2023. It was a night filled with heart, energy, and music that created an atmosphere of unity and resilience in the face of adversity.
Tomlinson, the former One Direction member, started the concert with an electrifying rendition of "The Greatest." This poignant opening number served as an uplifting affirmation of strength and set the tone for an evening of celebration, solidarity, and cathartic release.
The 'Faith In The Future' tour follows hot on the heels of Tomlinson’s successful 'Walls' tour and coincides with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album. As he discussed in a SiriusXM interview, this album and tour represent a creative evolution for Tomlinson: “It's really important to me in the live show, but also in how the tracks are produced as well,” he explained. That boldness and expanded artistic vision were on full display throughout the Vancouver concert.
With the support of opening act Andrew Cushin, Tomlinson wove an emotional narrative through the night. His setlist, which encompassed hits like "Kill My Mind," "Holding on to Heartache," and "She Is Beauty We Are World Class," showcased his diverse range and continued evolution as a solo artist.
The crowd erupted as he introduced two nostalgic numbers from the One Direction repertoire: "Night Changes" and "Where Do Broken Hearts Go." The fan favourites injected an irresistible dose of nostalgia into the night, uniting both newer and long-time fans in shared history.
A riveting cover of Arctic Monkeys' "505" was yet another testament to Tomlinson's growth, highlighting his ability to honour his musical influences while offering a unique twist that is distinctly his own.
The night ended on an indelible high note with Tomlinson’s encore performance of "Silver Tongues," one of his most acclaimed numbers from the new album. The Canadian crowd, awash in the afterglow of a performance that seamlessly blended heartfelt honesty with energetic entertainment, responded with a thunderous ovation.
The 'Faith In The Future' tour is proving to be about more than promoting Tomlinson's new album; it's about resilience, about forging ahead through challenging times, about holding onto hope and, indeed, about faith in the future.
In light of the Red Rocks incident, Tomlinson’s commitment to continue his musical journey with his fans is a poignant demonstration of his strength of character and his dedication to the healing power of music. As the 'Faith In The Future' tour travels across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, it is set to leave behind an inspiring legacy of resilience, connection, and unadulterated passion for music.
BLOG ENTRY #1 Dilaw: A Colorful Journey of Love and Loss
"When you came into my life, it was like a burst of sunshine on a cloudy day, filling everything with warmth and brightness. But now that you're gone, I'm left with a mark of your presence that won't go away, like a stain that stays no matter how hard I try to scrub it."
Maki's newly released music video for "Dilaw" is a visual and emotional masterpiece that takes the audience on a poignant journey through the highs and lows of love. The narrative encapsulated through clever color symbolism, leaves a lasting impression that is both heartwarming and heart-wrenching.
The Color Transition: From Monotony to Vitality
At the start, it's all in black and white, like old photographs. It feels boring like nothing is exciting happening. That's how the music video begins, showing a dull life. But then, something changes. The colors start to shift, and suddenly, there's yellow everywhere! It's like someone turned on a big, bright light. Yellow represents warmth and energy, and it's like a burst of sunshine in the video. This change shows us how having someone important in our lives can make everything feel more alive and colorful.
The Yellow Stain: A Mark of Unforgettable Impact One of the most memorable parts of the video is when Maki accidentally leaves a yellow mark on Maloi's uniform. It's not just a simple stain; it's like a little piece of sunshine that Maki leaves behind. This stain represents how someone can leave a mark on our lives, even after they're gone. It's like a reminder of all the happiness they brought us, but it also reminds us of the sadness when they're not around anymore. The stain is like a symbol of the deep impressions that the people we love leave on us. It's a mix of happy memories and sad feelings, all wrapped up in one little mark.
The Bittersweet Reality of Relationships The main idea behind "Dilaw" is the mixed feelings we experience in relationships. The video does a great job of showing how much someone can affect us, blending moments of happiness with moments of sadness. It's like a true-to-life look at love, where we feel both joy and sorrow. By the end, we realize how much relationships can change us, leaving us different from how we started.
The Enduring Impact of Love and Loss One of the most touching parts of the music video comes at the end when Maloi starts crying. Up until that moment, the colors in the video are kind of dull and muted, matching her sadness. But then, something changes. Maloi picks up a yellow object, and it's like a switch flips. Suddenly, the whole scene becomes brighter and warmer. It's as if she's finding a little piece of happiness again. This moment is really powerful because it shows how love and loss can still affect us, even after someone is gone. It's like their presence lingers on, shaping our feelings and experiences long after they've left.
A Visually and Emotionally Rich Experience Maki's "Dilaw" is not just a song; it's an experience that resonates deeply with anyone who has ever loved and lost. The clever use of color transitions and symbolism in the music video adds layers of meaning to the lyrics, making it a visually and emotionally rich narrative. It reminds us that while people may come and go, their influence, whether it brought us joy or sorrow, remains with us, coloring our world in unforgettable ways. In essence, "Dilaw" is a testament to the enduring power of love and the inevitable intertwining of happiness and heartache in our lives. It's a music video that will stay with you long after it ends, much like the yellow stain—an indelible mark of unforgettable impact.
My heart hurts so bad for his son, but also for him. He was a cry for help and desperately needed therapy. Would have that change anything? No, everything he has done is indelible. But at least, maybe, it could have ended differently.
I grew up with 1D, they were a huge part of my childhood/teenage years, they were one of the only sources of happiness when life felt shitty. They even gave me friends and beautiful memories that I'll cherish forever.
12-year-old me cries for him, for what he meant at that time of my life, and 26-yo me is struggling to find words to best describe what I'm feeling—but mostly, laments how everything ended. I'm thinking of Bear, his family, and the boys—good or bad, they shared a big part of their lives with him.
You shouldn't feel bad for feeling sadness and heartache. The little human in you, is allowed to mourn who he was to you.
Was he a bad person? To me, that's up to him and the one above—or whatever higher-up deity you believe in—to settle.
That being said—I do not condone the abuse one bit. And yeah, to be honest, it is weird grieving a person he has not been for a long time. But I hope he finds peace wherever he is, and I hope his son and family can find it, too, someday.
Fly high, Liam 🕊️
Thank you for having been a light when the world seemed dark to me.
John David Souther, an influential figure in the music world, was born on November 2, 1945, and left an indelible mark on the industry before his passing on September 17, 2024. As a singer, songwriter, and actor, Souther's contributions to the genre of country rock are celebrated for their lyrical depth and melodic innovation. His career was characterized not only by his own performances but also by the remarkable songs he crafted for others, particularly the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt.
Souther’s songwriting prowess truly shone through his collaborations with the Eagles, where he co-wrote some of the band’s most iconic hits, including “Best of My Love,” “Victim of Love,” “Heartache Tonight,” and “New Kid in Town.” These tracks feature the signature blend of emotional storytelling and harmonious melodies that defined the Eagles’ sound and contributed to their success in the creation of what became the "LA Sound" that dominated the airwaves in the late 70s and early 80s.
JD also had a varied acting career with roles in the television show Thirtysomething, Nashville, and many small roles in movies such as playing Jeffery in My Girl 2. The music video for Florida Georgia Line's "Dirt" features Souther as the main character in a story of a farmer looking back on his life with his late wife.
Souther had an extensive career, but as for me, he crafted the style of songwriting that would later drive my own songwriting career. Every note I play has some JD Souther in it. His sound is in my DNA. Rest in peace, Mr Souther. We will keep your music alive, and we will take it from here, sir. Give Glenn our love, and we will see you on the other side. Thank you for being the soundtrack to our lives.
Fiona's wedding night was an excruciating ordeal, a night of unspeakable torment that marked the beginning of her wretched existence as Queen. Guided to her chambers in the imposing tower, she was forced to consummate her marriage with Wilhelm in a degrading display, surrounded by his advisors and bishops from the Jacoban church who bore witness to this violation of her dignity. The memory of that night would forever haunt Fiona, an indelible scar etched into her soul.
The years that followed were no less agonizing. The pain of her wedding night continued to reverberate as Fiona found herself trapped in a cycle of desperation, repeatedly submitting to Wilhelm's desires in a futile attempt to conceive an heir. But her efforts were in vain, as year after year passed without the blessing of pregnancy. Fiona's heartache was compounded by her forced isolation within the tower's walls. While she was allowed occasional respite to attend court at Windenburg Castle, the moments were bittersweet. Fiona looked forward to these brief reprieves, a chance to step outside her prison, yet her simmering hatred for Wilhelm was clearly etched upon her face, a silent testament to the agony she endured.
Despite her plight, Fiona did her best to find solace in her newfound relationships. Her ladies in waiting became her confidantes, who offered a glimmer of light in the darkness of her existence. They would gather in her chambers, sharing stories and laughter, creating pockets of normalcy amidst the turmoil. These precious moments provided Fiona with a semblance of humanity, a reminder that she was more than just a pawn in Wilhelm's power-hungry game.
Then, in the fateful year of 1332, a flicker of hope illuminated Fiona's despair-ridden life. The realization that she was with child, finally pregnant after years of anguish, ignited a spark of joy within her. Eager to share the news, she summoned Wilhelm to her apartments, hoping that this revelation would bring a glimmer of compassion. However, his response was callous and unexpected. With a cold detachment, he declared that Fiona would be confined to her apartments for the duration of her pregnancy, dismissing her concerns for the well-being of the baby. Fiona's protests fell on deaf ears as Wilhelm heartlessly relegated her to the solitude of her chambers.
As she gazed out of her window onto the vast expanse of the open sea, Fiona's heart yearned for a life beyond her confines. She watched ships sail by, carrying dreams of escape and freedom. With each passing vessel, Fiona imagined herself on board, sailing away from her torment, leaving behind the tower's shadows to bask in the warm embrace of the sun-drenched horizon. Yet, as her pregnancy advanced and her world seemed to shrink, Fiona's dreams of escape became both a source of solace and a haunting reminder of the cruel reality that held her captive.
